What is the PRE Super Y Program?

The Pre Super Y program is a prepartitory training program for those who wish to extend their soccer experience into the summer. For player aged U13 & up we have the Super Y League, which is an elite level platform that see’s the club enter league play against the regions top talent.
In preparation for the Super Y league MPS Phoenix have designed a curriculum and summer schedule to help players develop for the Super Y league and give players the chance to play through the summer.

 
How are the squads selected for PRE Super Y program?

 Any player currently within our MCU & SZ U10 - 12 teams, will automatically be invited into the program. However those who are not part of the club can try out to be selected.

 
Can I take part even if I don’t play for MCU or SZ Phoenix?

Absolutely. We are committed to providing every player in Maine the chance to play at the highest level available. We would encourage all players to come to tryouts.

When does the PRE Super Y Program run?

The PRE Super Y program will run from the Week starting June 27th and will run through the week ending August 5th 2011

What is the commitment?

The PRE Super Y season will consist of 2 practices a week and no scheduled games. We are going to have in-house scrimmages, however there will be no travel involved.

Boys U10 –U12
Mondays- 5pm till 6-15pm
Wednesday – 5pm till 6-15pm
 

Girls U10 – U12
Monday’s -6-15 pm till 7-30 pm
Thursday- 5pm till 6-15pm

All practices are at the Portland Sports Complex

Is there games program invloved?

Yes, The PRE Super Y program is a practice program however and is not registered in a league, so we will be having some games through the program to aid the development of players
