Graham Zusi performs in victory over Venezuela and scores First Career Goal in Second Start

PANAMA CITY, Panama, 26th January 2012; A former FC America Premier Team player made his international debut this past weekend as part of Jurgen Klinsmann’s USMNT side that defeated Venezuela 1-0.
Graham Zusi started the contest and featured againagainst Panama at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City. Zusi scored off of a Teal Bunbury rebound to give the U.S. a 9th-minute lead and what would ultimately prove the game-winner.
“It is exciting to see former FC America players perform at the highest levels of the game,” said FPS General Manager Alan Hough. “Graham represents a positive role model for every young player in the club.”
After completing his youth career at FC America, Zusi played college soccer at the University of Maryland. During his college career, Zusi helped Maryland win the National Championship in 2005 and 2008, scoring the game-winning goal in the 2008 National Semi-Final and Championship Games.
